If you’ve been following my stuff for the last year you’ve probably wondered why a writer would write so little. Well, I’m no J.D. Salinger but I’ve been primarily pen-constipated by the constriction of what to put on this site. Reluctant to commit the site to marketing, and reluctant to create multiple sites, (ADHD is a bitch), I just didn’t publish much at all, with what I did put up being hit-or-miss with no theme.
I hope to get a chance to show you the stuff I’ve been working on, and perhaps you’ll find some part of it to be valuable to you. 
There’s a lot fancy pants changes going on at planet Rick. I’m spending most of my time these days building a brand spanking new site for professional speakers at SpeakerMachine.com where I’m taking on the myths and dis-information surrounding how to become a $2500 – $5000 paid keynote speaker.
It’s kind of a mess, so watch your step, but, if you wanna watch a work in progress you can take a peek before the official grand opening.
I’ve been threatening and making all sorts of noise about creating a case study site for Internet marketing (with a sense of humor and irony and a pure distaste for product launches) for a long time. After SpeakerMachine is open, I’ll start making a fuss over there.
This should get about half of my Twitter followers to un-friend me, but I’m writing a satirical political blog under the pen name Tad Salty. If you aren’t a political junkie, or if you really think that “the same wave that swept Scott Brown into office” is the same one that swept Obama in” (LOL) then don’t bother going there.
