This has to be THE most thought out video on:
A) The importance of drinking for your health (mental health)
and
B) Entertaining your Tribe so they’ll hear your marketing msg
well done.
& you’re right – a LOT of REAL Networking at these conferences – are done AFTER hours – at the bar:
PROOF 2 back up your claim:
oh
& I noticed there was unequal footage given to women in your video… hmmm… is that to make up for so many internet marketing conferences not having women on stage to Speak?
Tell ‘ya what – the next internet marketing conference that actually has MORE wise, intelligent, professional women teaching me from stage (than men) and sharing from her perspective on why she buys (instead of men telling me why he “thinks” I buy) I’ll tell ALL my girlfriends about it and MAKE them go – er – I mean I’ll seduce my tribe :+P
PS: Thanks at least 4 the gratuitous AB footage in there for the women
It was almost like watching 300 again! I want MORE next time!

How can you do anything but laugh after that one! Now I know why we all party way too much in college – gotta get rid of those bad brain cells before we hit the working world.

Hi Rick,
That’s just fat out funny and vastly informative.
Now, it makes sense that if I start the day with a nice dry chardonnay with my corn flakes, then maybe a merlot with lunch, a mid-afternoon brandy, then perhaps a nice cab or Poully Fusse with dinner and I’m sure to get so smart that by bedtime I may solve one of Einstein’s missing equations.
Since I live in Las Vegas, this behavior will be perfectly acceptable.
Take care,
Tom (burp) Justin

Have you heard that booze kills the “boobs” in the crowd so there are more boobs to go around for the rest of us?

HA. This is awesome.
Okay so here’s the witty-est comment that proves this is true.
SO I’m hitting the books now upstate in the prestigious SUNY system and I’m drawing some parallels. You have guys ad girls who do nothing but eat sleep and sit behind a computer all day or bury their faces in books. And so when these geeks and nerds … cause that’s what we are when we lock ourselves in dorms n colleges … when we hit the first chance at relief … we get girls (and guys … but I’m usually not payin’ attention to dem) going wild.
SO it really doesn’t surprise me to know that when nerds and geeks that all they do is sit behind computers
(manging websites) or read (marketing) books (with the exceptions having family lives to boot) … that at the first chance of relief (seminars) … we get middle age marketers gone wild.
It’s perfectly understandable.
By the way I wanna give away my round of drinks if I get it cause I probably wont make it to Vegas

I’m loving this discussion!
You got booze, boobs, books, and spitting.
It makes me feel good to know I made you laugh and somehow changed your face for a little bit.
The media is making us crazy – and I want THIS MEDIA to make your life better…

I”ve just added the 2nd video to this post, courtesy of Coach Deb of http://RPMSuccess.com.
If you recognize anyone in the video BUST ‘EM by putting their names in the comment – and email them to come here and make some type of defense for their nut-job behavior.
It’s okay to email spouses too. This must be stopped!

Looks to me Rick… like the weaker brain cells are still intact and the intelligent cells in the brain are l o n g gone in these folks.
Who says that drinking takes out the weaker cells? Scientific research says booze doesn’t discriminate.
And what does science know, the proof is in your video…..
sic.

Hey Kara – I’m totally kidding. LOL
Booze is poison and is toxic to humans – drunkenness is simply the body fighting off the toxicity but the buzz seems to appeal to a pretty good percentage of peeps.
CYA in Vegas?

Great video, Rick! At last I have a defensible reason for the heavy drinking I do at seminars! Maybe I should start drinking at home and office as well…which I haven’t been doing, by the way.
One thing is certainly clear: We can count on you to stir up controversy and keep things lively.
Live long and prosper.
