Even though I hate my job at moments, I have to say that there are also sobering moments, like when I’m paying bills, where I feel very lucky to still be employed in today’s job market. I start with that thought in order to relate a comment to the “hurting businesses vying for my Black Friday dollars;” I am pleased to think that my earned wage is now going further, with bigger sales and cheaper consumer prices (namely gasoline). So I suppose you could say, in all fairness, that my job is what keeps my spirits up during *this* holiday season.
