Rick Butts is a writer, adventurer, and recognized expert at online marketing and branding.

He is the author of 14 books from motivational fiction to search engine optimization, numerous audio and video training courses, and creator of more than 400 websites.

A professional rock musician and singer traveling with several groups in the 80′s, Rick traded his guitar for a suit and tie and began a career in sales that turned into starting businesses in retail electronics, manufacturing, and financial services.

After hearing a motivational speech by the legendary Jim Rohn, he began his own speaking career promoting events and appearing with Jim, as well as Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy, Les Brown, Lou Holtz, Terry Bradshaw, Dr. Denis Waitley, and the legendary Og Mandino.

When Rick published is first book The Safari Chronicles Vol 1; The Safari Adventure Company – it carried testimonials from his speaking mentors, Brain Tracy, Jim Rohn, Dr. Denis Waitley, and Laurie Beth Jones. The book propelled Rick’s workshops into motivational keynote speaking engagements where he was rapidly picked up by some of the premiere speaker bureaus in the US and Canada and traveled the world speaking for top corporations and associations in the top 3% fee-wise of the members of The National Speakers Association.

After a decade of success in paid professional speaking and writing 2 more books, Rick walked away from speaking to pursue his passion for writing and online marketing. He started an online software company for boosting search engine results followed by multiple software, training, and membership websites, earning more than $1,000,000 online.

Rick occasionally works with select clients, personally builds niche market websites, writes and pursues interesting projects and is currently in the former Soviet Union in Ukraine working on a documentary film about the badly named mail order bride industry.
