I so relate with that statement. To be authentic, true to one’s own-self without pressing to be and do – or who someone says I should be (at a particular time and place). It certainly would be a press towards a vision of what I may perceive to be right based off of emotion or anxiousness, instead of what I know to be true within me.

Success for *me* is very, very similar to what you wrote here (changed it a bit) “exactly where it is supposed to be at the exact moment, and in each moment that follows.”

I often ask myself, “am I flowing downstream?”. Because if I’m not, the chance is that I’m struggling and wasting my energy on activities that aren’t going to help me or others.

Where as when I let go! And let life flow! It is amazing to watch how synchronicity happens, and my life becomes magical

I just finished reading the chapter titled “Giving Up Role Playing” in Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth”.

I’m fairly astounded at the response this post has gotten. When I wrote it, I was pretty sure that one or two people would say something nice, but mostly I figured that the business readers would say “fluff” and wonder where the make money, list building, twitter tips would be.

I’m excited to see that something soulful would matter. And, it was written by a MAN for crying out loud.

I’ve been thinking of moving the business part of this site to StardustFactor.com – and continuing to write Rick Stuff here. I also own IMHBAO.com (in my humble but accurate opinion) so I could use that site for my Rick Stuff and keep the biz stuff here.

More and more I’m wanting to separate things – but, maybe it should all flow through here. Like a river.

This is beautiful – remember who you are and non-striving (wu-wei). Thanks for the reminder to just BE.

I totally agree with the purpose part. I didn’t mean to leave that out. I guess I just assumed (for my readers) that purpose was already in place.

But, now that you mention it, a CLEAR purpose would hopefully eliminate all that frantic hyperactivity. In fact – what IS a big year, a BIG success, BIG anything in this context but something we cobble together from our own imagination and the opinions of others.

Purpose – stream – hmmmmm…. Authentic understanding of who we really are?

I love it. I enjoy it. I take care of it.

But…I can’t overlook that the stream is ‘driven’ to fulfil it’s purpose.

It won’t be stopped.
It will go over or around obstacles.
It will do what it was created to do.

It may not have a timeframe…but it absolutely has a purpose and will not be deterred from that.

So…I see the same stream…and get perhaps a different message.

I won’t be dissuaded from setting goals, implementing or being ‘intentional’ — like the stream, I feel like that’s what I was created to do, to be.

I think we can be ‘in flow’ and still be striving towards our ultimate direction.
