A Radical New Mentoring Project Begins

This week I will begin rolling out a very different approach to helping people be successful in Internet marketing.

A very small group of people - 25 in fact.

This project is based on what I consider to be the 2 biggest missing incredients in all other Internet marketing clubs, memberships, or consulting relationships.

My thought process has come from reading the brilliant book Blue Ocean Strategy - and rethinking what the competition is doing in such a dramatic that you effectively create a business model that has no competition.

This mentorship will have no competition, here's why.

The chief missing ingredient is lack of direct 1 on 1, personal, contact with the head mover and shaker of the group. Internet marketers are notorious for developing "preaching" mass coaching methods by doing webinars and throwing recorded audio and video at you - and good lucki - cya.

While there is much to learn this way - a short Q and A at the end of a blitz of information and "it's getting late" call will not replace a thoughtful consulting session where you get a pure expert to look at exactly what you are doing - and evaluate your goals and strategies - and either help you tweak it to make it better - or reposition and fix broken things - or to tell you straight out that your efforts in this direction are all wrong and need to be scrapped for something better.

This is what you get from real coaching and consulting and the only place you find this motif is in hourly consulting - which is just too expensive for most people. BTW - don't believe these ridiculous number like "I charge $5000 for my consulting but you get an hour free as a bonus if you buy my ebook!"

The other missing ingredient in mass coaching or memberships is personal development, challenge, goals, accountability and motivation. No business person achieves sustainable success without becoming more of a person and increasing his/her skills in working with people, managing stress, time management, and life balance.

And we ALL need some encouragement from time to time. Real business success is a series of failures that lead to breakthrough success. And those failure times can really let the wind out of your sails.

This week I will be accepting members into a true mentoring program - with some awesome features never offered before now - via Go To Meeting - Live Chat - and combining all the things that make a mentoring relationship work - along with Killer 1 - on - 1 Internet marketing business and personal consulting.

1. I've been a personal development / motivational speaker and trainer for 11 years - written 3 books on the subject and have spoken Internationally to a Who's Who of top corporations and associations. I am an expert in what makes a person successful (and happy.)

2. I've also been making money online since 1995 - and have forgotten more about REAL internet marketing than most people know. I have spent a small fortune in powerful membership programs, read the books and stay up on all the emerging web trends.

3. I have an uncanny knack for being able to instantly generate fast great ideas for anyone who is trying to market or sell anything. It's hard to brag about yourself like this - but lots of other people will tell you the same thing. I don't claim to have learned this - it is in my DNA apparently - and I'm really, really good at it.

So in the end - these 3 special qualifications make me an excellent candidate in the SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE areas - but what about passion?

Try as I might to find a way to deny this whole gigantic part of me find me struggling to get along and experiencing happiness and excitement - and getting results - when someone calls me or emails me with a problem or challenge. Then I'm off to the races and BOOM! Happy..

1 - The Big Hour One on One via phone and Go To Meeting for a comprehensive, no-holds-barred, coaching and mentoring session each month. I call it The Big Hour because I'm not going to treat you like a psychiatrist who, right when you are about to have a giant breakthrough, tells you "we have to stop."

If it takes 2 hours to get you squared away - the 2 hours it is. Are you starting to get the picture here?

2 - Live voice / web seminars each week where you'll be able to ask any question you want - and listen in as I talk to as many of the other members as care to join us. These will be very lively sessions where I'll usually have something to share with the group - but the real meat of the program will the live, interactive - completely candid site evaluations, looking at everything detail of your online business from choosing the market niche - to traffic - Web 2.0, to conversion, list building strategies and selling on the back end.

These sessions will be recorded and placed in the member's only archives so you never miss anything.

3. Web 2.0 - Social Networking etc is HUGE today and there will be an emphasis on leveraging this media to get results in increased search rankings as well as direct targeted traffic and profiting from these free web properties.

As a team - I'll help you create the most powerful and effective linking, article exchange and tag and ping strategies that will let us kick some serious ass over any other groups. Our marketing prowess will leverage this power to drive traffic to help us all make money.

4. Case studies, look over my shoulder, and share in all my resources. I will bring you tons of valuable resources, including original videos, audio presentations, and respond to the needs of the group by producing educational materials that will be valuable to the members.

We can build sites from scratch in different markets and build a nice Wiki from the steps and information we learn about what works - this will be an incredibly powerful educational tool that you can access again and again.

5. Real networking connections with the other members of this small but mighty group. By keeping the group size small and fairly stable - you'll develop life long partners with members - and you'll get many chances to "connect." I'm a terrific networker and love to help people get to know one another so I'll keep that in motion at all times.

I'm a tough interviewer - and as I get to know you personally - I'll know what you need - and be sure to drag it out of our Mr. or Ms. Big when they come into our little team meetings.

I've worked with some of the giants in this field including Brian Tracy, Jim Roh, Tom Hopkins, Og Mandino, Lou Holtz, Les Brown, as well as some amazing, if less well-known, brilliant people from the National Speakers Associaton I was a member of for 7 years. (By the way - I was in the top 3% fee-wise of the 5000 members of NSA - earning $10,000 per 1 hour keynote speech when I walked away from speaking due to burn out from travel - to pursue my booming Internet marketing business.)

So why is all this only $495.00?

I know. As a consultant I could easily get $495.00 an hour for 1 on 1 consulting at the level I can deliver it. And I know how to go get that business. But I do NOT want to get on airplanes anymore - and I do NOT want to have to be dragged around some company who won't implement what I show them because they won't take a risk - and I refuse to wade through the massive quantities of bullshit that whole market requires - for a buck.

I know what my uniqueness is - and it is in helping people solve marketing problems and challenges and breaking through personal development barriers to big success. I've written and published 3 books on success and motivation, and 8 ebooks on marketing. I love it!

Now in order to exploit it in the service of others - I just will not be satisfied with having 1000 members and a couple of teleseminars of Q and A - or a forum - or a "magic email address" because 99% of what happens in my live coaching mentoring sessions is incredibly connecting and organic - it is dynamic and unpredictable - except that it ALWAYS produces creative new ideas and fires up the person I'm talking to. ALWAYS.

So, no, this is not scalable in a traditional way - and I cannot automate it either. (I will use a transcriber to create text content from the audio - and post to the wiki etc).

Membership in the very unique and powerful group will become worth at least $2500. Members will be grandfathered forever at the price they signed up (making your ground floor member's price of $495.00 a great investment), but I will be increasing the price for new members as others leave or move on - always keeping the group size at 25 people.
