Moving Out Today
Sorry I haven't been around much the last two weeks. It's been a crazy time for me - as I've bounced all over the globe about where to live. I'm not going to Budapest, Costa Rica, or Disneyland, (at least not today), in fact I'm not really going to GO anywhere.
It's hard to describe the unusualness of having absolutely no requirements or responsibilities personally or professionally. Freedom has been one of my most important life values and apparently I've pursued it to the max.
So today I'm moving out of the house I've sold and putting my shizzle into storage. I made four piles, throw-away, charity, storage, and suitcase. I named the small pile "suitcase" as that is what I'll put in the truck and take with me on my road trip.
Tomorrow I believe I'm going to head up to Grand Lake near the Colorado National Forest and spend some time just breathing and relaxing. Perhaps if I stop chasing shiny stuff - the real deal will emerge in the silence?
Thanks for your support and for being such an important part of my cyberlife. I have some very important ideas, articles, videos, and more for you, coming really soon.

WOW! An adventure is always good for the soul
I pray you find the peace you require and the inspiration you desire…wait! That almost sounds like rap (my kids would be so proud)…LOL
Good luck on your quest.
blessings,
Wendy
Hey Rick,
Wishing you much happiness and peace in your latest adventure. You already have what so many seek, freedom to do exactly what you want and need to do, when you need to do it.
Shizzle is exactly that as George Carlin would be happy to point out.
Hugs,
D

Nothing more enjoyable than boiling your shizzle down to a suitcase. Suitcase and guitar and some breathing and relaxing.
Enjoy your road trip and remember it's not about the destination - It's the journey.
All the best

Enjoy your road trip Rick.
The lake looks beautiful.
Next month I go to the Mountains of the South of Portugal - I have always wanted to try and spend a whole winter a place with a mild climate.
Freedom is such a lovely thing. I hope you find peace in mind and much happiness.
Best
Rick,
I have mixed emotions. On one hand it's kind of sad to see all of your stuff packed up and the house looking so empty. I have a lot of good memories from that house.
On the other hand, and mostly, I'm excited for you and your new adventure. You always land on your feet. You always encourage and you always inspire.
Something that you told me a long time ago has stuck with me through the years. I think about it often and I've seen it at work in my own life. You said, "Strange traveling suggestions are dancing lessons from God".
Go and enjoy the dance my friend.
Peace, Barry O.

Well then, here's to wishing you a response
from the silence. There is something there
for sure. And wishing you a safe and speedy return.
You're missed and well, needed.
There's something to be said about being human.
And I believe you encapsulate all facets therein.
Peace my brother from another mother.

WOW! I've emerged from a few days with no web access to these wonderful comments - I love you guys! sniff sniff.
It's been a time to open my eyes and my heart as I posted just now.
The big battle is to NOT leap up and make a power business decision - which is my tendency.
What I'm trying to do is to listen and open my heart and mind - and listen to Bad Company, Duran Duran, Led Zepplin and rock a bit!
Which is just what I'm doing now.
I can't tell you how cool it is that you all took the time to post here about such non-money-making topics, encouraging, really.
I'm off to hike and maybe pull out the Cam - I'll get back to you with whatever I shoot.
Thanks again, Rick
