Tonight I was looking at the amazing Twitter Vision 3D and couldn’t help but think about what an incredible diversity of people, ideas, and connections are being created by this simple yet amazing tool.

I’ve been looking for an idea to use to the Genesis song “Follow You Follow Me” and I just thought it would groove nicely to the real time view from around the world at around 2:30 am on Friday am July 25.

Adding in the stats at the beginning helped to give a feel and nice setup to the whole twitter experience.

Please tell me if you like this video – and what it makes you think about how you are using Twitter – and that as the wise old dentist told the young dentist…

“Always remember,
at the end of every tooth,
is a human being.”

Oh yeah, this video is inspired by Twitter Squeeze!

Hey Very Exact Bob – !

The tone of the guitar on the beginning is just so tasty! I love this song too.

Have had this tune in my head for a logn time thinking of a video it would be good for (for Twitter of course.)

I was going to do one with footedge of me and my dog going back and forth – well, it’s hard to describe but I may still do it!

There can be a Version 1.0 and 2.0 – Right?

I’m really hoping this video goes viral like on Digg or one of the techie Social sites.

It must be the romantic in me but could you imagine a military wife sitting there watching Twittervision, thinking about her soldier husband half a world away. She looks and there’s a tweet by him – He misses her too.

Twitter is one amazing concept. Tweets rising from around the world. Hearts and minds wanting to be heard. It’s always been happening. Twitter just gave the people a communication tool.

Rick

The song is perfect for what you are doing with
TwitterSqueeze and for Twitter in general.

This video makes me realize that Twitter is such an
amazing, unifying tool for the world.

Cool! It’s pretty amazing when you think of it. So many languages, so many different kinds of people. Yet we’re all connected in a small way.

Well…until Twitter goes down again :P

Wow – I love everyone’s comments here – so philosophical and moving – exactly what the twittermap made me feel as I watched a global conversation made up of individual hearts, minds, and lives…

Great video, Rick! I love it – Twittervision is completely addicting, once I start watching it, I absolutely can’t stop. Now with Phil singing along – wow, makes it all that much more perfect!

I stumbled ya, too – but, from YouTube, guess that’s why Cassie’s stumble didn’t come up when I hit the thumb. So now you’re double-stumbled! ;)
