If you are stressed out and having trouble relaxing – this song will help…

Enjoy this song I wrote and recorded (and played all the guitars and bass on), on the house.

Listen FREE – Download FREE – Royalty FREE!

sleep_child_baby.jpgDo you ever get totally stressed out? Have you ever tried to go to sleep when you can’t stop worrying?

That’s exactly where I was when I heard Larry Burkett say on the radio how that exactly described him as a stressed out businessman.

Then he read a Bible verse that said God did not sleep and that while we slept, was on the job looking out for us and working things out.

When I heard that – I wrote the song Sleep Child which I am including here for you.

It is FREE to Listen to – FREE to Download – and Royalty FREE so you can use it for your own creations in video, or mashups.

Feel free to post about this free download on your blog – and refer your friends,

Thanks!

Rick

What an incredible song! I really enjoyed it!! I just made a $10 donation to your Guitar Fund …

I would encourage everyone else who hears this song and appreciates the message to also MAKE A DONATION!!! If everyone chips in (even just a little bit) it would help Rick “replace” his stolen stuff.

I’ll be sharing this post with everyone I know, too!! =)

Thanks for the encouragement, Rick!

Hi Rick What a surprise? Beautiful song and I hope you get your guitar very soon. How could I not send you a donation? AnneMarie

NOTE FROM RICK: AnneMarie, I added your URL http: http://www.debts-challenge.com - Thanks for the kind words… Rick

Hi Rick, what a sad story, I have a Status Bass (it’s a bit of a rare one from the UK) that I bought in 1988. I reckon it must have done something like 2,500 gigs in those years, if I lost it I would be gutted. So yes I’d love to send you some cash, after all without you, I would never have made it to Vegas and I would never have been able to turn my internet business from pocket money into decent cash:)
Since I was in Vegas in September I have bought a little wooden chalet in The French Alps so my daughter can have a garden. Look how much she loves it:

You’re a star Rick!

Rick!

I’ve been a radio DJ over 20 years! I LOVE the song!

When I heard the first lick, I liked it, but then when you mentioned the word JESUS (my FAVORITE word in the whole universe!) I REALLY loved it!

Please let us know if you take in enough to replace the guitar.

Thanks!

Wonderful song Rick. You’re a great musician. It’s amazing what talents internet marketers have!

@ John Abbott – Jesus is my favorite as well. I got to read Philippians 2:6-11 in Mass today, “Therefore God highly exalted Him and gave Him the Name that is above every Name…”

Love the message of the song. Personally, I tend to suffer from anxiety and at the beginning of the year, I was all stressed out because it seemed like I had way too much on my plate….yada yada yada…..

So I prayed a lot about it etc. and I was shown that there is nothing to worry about…that our relationship with God is what is important and just focus on that and everything else will be okay.

What a relief!!!

Hi Again Rick,

As I emailed you, I must have listened to the song about 10 times today! I LOVE it!

Well, since Monday is St Patricks Day, I made a video of “the Unicorn Song” that I’d like to share with you. Since I can NOT sing, maybe people will appreciate YOUR song even more!
Here it is:

Hi Rick,
I’ve also heard the verse that Larry quoted….Awesome song… Thank you. Often wish I could sleep like a baby & not a care in the world!

I have a teenager who is very attached to his guitars.. and your ‘favourite’ guitar can never really be ‘replaced’.

P.S. The download link is working for the Listen but not on the Download section.

17 Wambui Bahati March 20, 2008 at 5:58 pm

Thanks Rick. I fell in love with you after I read your book “The Big Butts Of Life” Really inspiring – one of my favorites. Beautiful song too.

Hey thanks so much for your wonderful words… I don’t get a lot of Hopi Elders on the website!

I was informed just now that the download link wasn’t working for the song – so I’ve just fixed it (darn computers are SO fickle about being precise!)

Really grateful for each person who has commented here…

Great song, Rick, very encouraging. I have a Yamaha acoustic, too. Would be bummed if mine got stolen. You got a ten spot from me for sure.

Really appreciate Larry Burkett. His “Business By The Book” is one of my all-time fav’s and I’ve used it’s principles with my coaching clients many times over the years.

My condolences about your dad. Having your stuff stolen on top of it and dealing with a hospital stay sounds like your really going through the fire. Keep in His hand and you will come through like precious gold.

Praying for you…
Dave

Love the song…finally had a few moments to listen to it. Thanks for sending the link.

Tried to make a donation, but it kept kicking me out.

Sorry to hear about your Dad!

Thanks for the tips. These symptoms to watch out for in children are really helpful. My husband was diagnosed with sleep apnea a year or two ago and I have heard that it often runs in families. I am a little bit concerned that our children might have it as well. Now I know more about what to look for Child Sleep Solution
