Of Course
That's my new semi-sarcastic, neo-fatalistic, jaded response to anything that doesn't go my way.
"Of course…." (you can imagine the tone. Emphasis on the Of.
Someone cuts you off in traffic - "Of, course."
They run out of what you've been standing in line for just as you get to the front, "Of course." Sigh
It sounds bitter and depressive to just write it - but here's what I've found. If you share it with a few people, the first time you say it together it is a huge bonding moment and very funny.
That laughter releases valuable endorphins - or something - and somehow I feel a good deal better about the frustrations of life…
Of, course…

My day job is working for Walgreen's in management and I gotta tell you, your "Of, course." is a similar comment I have made many times to customers who have cut in line…my response to them is…"now you can go to the back of the line", customer's response, "The back of the line, you got to be kidding? Of course-NOT! I could be a real SD and have the rest of the customers chant with me "Of Course NOT! LOL now!
